How Many Sessions Do I Need to See Improvement in Symptoms?

Some people can see improvement in symptoms in as little as 1 session but on average it takes 4-6 treatment session 2x/week for 2-3 weeks to build up momentum of the healing response. This is why we recommend scheduling 4-6 sessions when you make your initial appointment.

Do You Accept Insurance?

HealingTree Integrative Health Clinic, PLLC does not bill insurance for services provided. However, if your insurance plan covers acupuncture or physiotherapy services, Dr Megan Bolek will provide you with a medical receipt to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. (Membership pricing and services provided during the Care Clinic are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.)

What Can I Expect to Pay for the First Treatment?

Your initial treatment session will include a complete medical history, review of symptoms, diagnostic evaluation, in addition to a variety of modalities that will speed recovery and support your therapeutic goal(s). Each modality has a specific therapeutic benefit. We incorporate what is necessary and appropriate for the most effective and efficient results. For example, in one session, a client may receive medical cupping, moxibustion, acupuncture, and heat therapy.

Expect to pay a minimum of $150 - $300 or more for your first treatment session. Prices vary depending on inclusion of herbal medicine, supplements, etc. 

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

Cash, check, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express), in addition to HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flex Spending Account) cards. There will be a $30 fee for any returned checks. Payment is due at the time of service. 

I'm Struggling Financially Right Now. Are there Any Options for Me?

Of course! We offer membership plans for acupuncture and manual therapies. After receiving your initial appointment, you may also qualify to receive treatments during our Care Clinic hours on Wednesday from 1-3pm (created especially ffor those experiencing financial hardship). Space is limited, so please reserve only if truly in need. It is important to us that money is not a limiting factor in providing care. If you have specific questions regarding your budget and care, please email Info@HealingTree.Clinic with subject line "Attn Clinic Director".  

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please allow at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Changes can be made by email at info@healingtree.clinic or by contacting the clinic at (701) 757-4325.

The full amount of the treatment will be charged if less than 24 hour notice is given prior to cancelling an appointment.

Exceptions will be made for late cancellation or reschedule requests for the following reasons:

  • Medical or family emergencies

  • COVID-19 symptoms or confirmed diagnosis

  • Poor weather conditions with local school closure

Appointments are considered cancelled 15 minutes after the appointment time without advance notice, and charged to the card on file per the policy. Please contact us at (701) 757-4325 if you are running late, so that we may choose to offer an intake via phone in order to begin the treatment immediately upon your arrival. 

Do You Accept Returns or Exchanges?

In order to maintain rigorous safety standards and provide the highest quality products, we are unable to accept returns or give refunds on any herbal products and supplements after they leave the clinic.

What if I Can't Lay Flat?​ 

It's important to relax in a comfortable position during your treatment. We have a reclining chair and forward leaning treatment chair to ensure comfort. Please discuss any concerns with your HealingTree practitioner.

What Should I Wear?​ 

Comfortable, loose fitting clothing is typically best for treatments. Medical gowns and linens are available.
